Long Point 3-day Race Weekend to Catalina
Here is preliminary crew outline:
Friday August 26, 2022
1) 9AM meet at Balboa Yacht Club Newport Beach wearing race gear, with separate overnight bag consisting of all extra personal provisions, evening beachwear, bath towel etc.
2) 9:30am: Saga Crew departs from Balboa YC on shore boat to Saga (without personal provisions). Motorsail to start line near mouth of Santa Ana River.
3) 5pm: 14 Racers on Saga should finish race anchor and clean up Saga by about 5pm, wind dependent. Transfer to Saga’s staging boat Radiance (Beneteau Oceanus 62). Shower, change, clean up.
4) Then 1 hour of cocktails on Radiance until about 7:00pm.
4) 7pm: Shore ferry (yacht club provided) will ferry all guests to beach for bbq dinner.
5) 9:30pm: Transfer back to Radiance for transit to Hotels in Avalon.
Saturday
6) 8am: Reboard Radiance for transit back to Long Point Beach, and Continental Breakfast on Beach.
7) 9:30am: Transfer from Beach Breakfast to Radiance. Change back into Race Gear.
8) 10:30am, Transfer onto Saga.
9) 5pm: Saga to Finish Race, similar to Friday.

10) Then 1 hour of cocktails until about 7:00pm.
11) 7pm: Shore ferry (yacht club provided) will ferry all guests to beach for bbq dinner.
12)9:30pm: Transfer back to Radiance for transit to Hotels in Avalon.
Sunday
13) 8am: Reboard Radiance for transit back to Long Point Beach, and Continental Breakfast on Beach.
14) 9:30am: Transfer from Beach to Radiance. Change back into Race Gear.
15) 10:30am, Transfer onto Saga.
16) 6pm: Arrive at Balboa YC. Clean up Saga, and pick up Personal baggage from Radiance.

I plan on providing optional breakfast at SDYC 8 am, and during day: hydration, and light lunch. Afterparty optional drinks at SDYC.
